We will meet with you and your pup for initial and exit assessments to discuss and demonstrate types of skills acquired through various trainer techniques as well as the importance of reinforcing those learned skills and techniques. Dog must be introduced to and have used a muzzle prior to attending private training sessions for aggression with owner. Muzzle must be hard (wire, rubber, plastic, or leather and not the soft type (cloth or nylon).

Owner is required to maintain proper control of dog at all times
Safety procedures must be adhered to as delineated by the obedience trainer. Failure to do so will result in expulsion of dog from program.
Sessions cover basic obedience commands as well as addressing aggression toward humans and other dogs, resource guarding, and impulse control. The dog will begin learning in an isolated environment. Based upon the obedience trainer's discretion and dog's "readiness", the owner, trainer, and dog will take field trips to various places.
Walk and Work Program
After your dog has completed one of the Daytraining or Board and Train programs, it is important to maintain your dog's obedience training skills! Sessions are designed for obedience training purposes with a focus on basic commands by continuing to ensure your dog walks nicely on leash, sits, downs, and performs other obedience skills.
The obedience trainer will come to the owner's residence and work and walk the dog for 45 minutes. During this time, all commands are revisited and practiced. We walk around the neighborhood or the dog may be transported to a location such as Big River Crossing, Overton Park, Shelby Farms, Home Depot, etc. This is also a great opportunity for your dog to exercise! Rain or Shine!

If your dog is currently attending Paw Paw's Daycare program, the Walk and Work program is an additional $360 (8 sessions per month). Your dog will be transported, by Paw Paw's, to various locations such as parks and trails to walk and train.
*Dog must enroll in the Walk and Work program within 1 month of completing one of Paw Paw's Daytraining or Board and Train obedience training programs.
*Sessions are scheduled on a per month basis.
